Hello and happy Friday! For those who celebrate Thanksgiving, I hope you had an enjoyable and safe holiday yesterday. If you're lucky enough to have today off from work, I hope you get to spend some time sewing!
Bonnie and Camille's newest collection, Shine On recently arrived in quilt shops and maybe you're looking for ideas for what to sew with it. Well, you're in luck! For today's Friday Fabric Refresh, I am sharing some of my patterns refreshed in Shine On.
Happy Friday!! Who else feels like this year is flying by extra fast all of a sudden? I feel like I'm so behind on everything! Normally, I would feature a pattern on a Friday Fabric Refresh post after I've released the pattern.
With 2020 being such a weird year, and with so many things not going according to plan, I decided to do things backwards and show you some refreshed versions first! I hope to have the pattern ready before the end of the month, but I'm not making any promises!

Hello! I'm back today with another quick tip for EQ8 users. Using EQ8 has allowed me to design quilts that I probably otherwise wouldn't have. I have sometimes "accidentally" discovered new designs just by playing around in EQ8. Keep reading to find out where you might have seen the result of this and not even realized it!

Previously, I posted about editing fabric swatches in EQ8. If you missed that post, you can find it here. You might be thinking that's great and all, but those edited fabrics are only in whatever project I was working on. Happy Friday! Earlier this week, I shared the pillow I made using the block from my Sugar Twist quilt that is in the Best of Moda Bake Shop book. I decided that would make this week the perfect opportunity to feature Sugar Twist for Friday Fabric Refresh!

Metro is a modern-looking honey bun or charm pack friendly pattern and I used the upcoming Balboa collection from Sherri and Chelsi. I love the colors in that collection, but it's always fun to see how a quilt will look in different fabrics!
